I%26#39;ve posted this in the Family Travel Forum, but it doesn%26#39;t seem to get much traffic. So thought I%26#39;d ask you guys as well!
We%26#39;re looking to do a tour in Asia next year with our 3yo. We%26#39;ve travelled in Asia before, just the two of us and once with our daughter when she was 18m (Bangkok and Koh Chang).
However, this trip we want to cover a fair bit of ground in a relatively short period of time, so would love the ease, support and reassurance of a tour.
I%26#39;ve seen some super family tours advertised that sound exactly what we%26#39;re after EXCEPT most have a minimum age of 6 years.
We want to go Bangkok, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and back to Bangkok so we can then do an island holiday (probably Koh Samui, no need for a tour for that part). Total time about 2 weeks (not including island part).
Has anyone done something similar to this with a toddler?
Does anyone know of a company that caters for this age group?
Are tour companies very strict on the age thing or is it flexible?
Has anyone done something like this as a private tour?
Do any families out there want to team up for a private tour like this?!!! March next year!!!!!!
We just want something that is flexible for us with a child and is at a slower pace with sights suitable for her ability and interests. And so other people understand when she has a tantrum on a train or bus!
Any advice on going it alone would be appreciated, as if I can%26#39;t find a tour that%26#39;s what we%26#39;ll have to do!
Thanks
