2 weeks in Laos and around

Hi

I am planning to travel round Laos / Cambodia for 2 weeks next April.

I%26#39;ll be flying to Bangkok and moving on from there and have a list of possible things i%26#39;d like to do, in no particular order yet. It could be i%26#39;m trying to fit too much in, eg - i might not bother with Cambodia and just see Yunnan Province in China

Laos

1. Luang Prabang

2. Vientiane

Cambodia

3. Angkor Wat

China:

4. Yuang Yuang rice terraces

Trekking in the Xishuangbanna region

I am gonna have to do 1 or two internal flights, but is this all possible in 2 weeks? If i should drop one which should i not bother with - any other suggestions?

2 weeks in Laos and around

gday matt. did this last year.

bangkok to sukhotai by train. spent couple o days there. then to chaing mai for another couple. mini bus to border and rode the slow boat down mekong for 2 days (good fun). ended up in LP. bus to Viangviene, fun town. bus to VT. from there to PP not to sure, we came to Cam from Saigon. then went to Siem reap.

I do know you can fly to LP from BK. and fly from Vientiene to PP.

dont matter what anyone says, two weeks in laos and cambodia is very doable, but the overland travel can make it very tiresome. and airfares are still quite cheap, and regular.plus no planes have crashed in the region for at least 6 weeks!
