Flights to VTE from Hanoi

hi i%26#39;m planning on flying to Vientiane from Hanoi in June, is avaliability of flights good enough to book them when i get there? or should i book before i go?

also, whats the best way to get from luang prabang to chiang mai?

Hi, I have the same question. We are planning to go to VTE on December from Bangkok, and then fly to Hanoi. Should we book all flights before departing Australia?

I think you can book few days in advance the BKK-VTE or the VTE-HANOI, without any trouble.

Flight BKK to/from VTE....there are I think 4 flights/day either by Lao Airlines, either by Thai Airways. So you will find alsway a seat available.

Flight VTE to/from Hanoi, there is one every day, operated by Vietnam Airlines.... the same, it is never crowded. When you are in Hanoi, or in VTE you can book this flight.

From Luang Prabang to Chang mai, either by direct flight, either by road or boat to Houxay (Lao Border) and then cross Mekong and by Road to Chang Rai then Chang Mai.
