I am hoping to make a 3-5 day long side trip to Laos during my 17 day vacation in Thailand.
In Laos - %26#39;Gibbons Experience%26#39; is what I am primarily interested for this visit (although tubing in VV would be great, too!).
I am doing my research now and finding conflicting opinions among those who%26#39;ve ';been there, done that'; -some rave about ';Gibbons Experience';, others say it%26#39;s not worth the time and trouble of getting there from Bangkok.
I am hoping to hear more opinions - have you done that? is it worth it?
I am thinking of flying from Bangkok to LP (flying - to save time as opposed to getting there by land) - would it be far from there? how many days should I allow for that? is it possible to combine ';Gibbons Experience'; with a day of tubing in VV?
Please help!

I guess nobody here experienced the %26#39;Gibbons Experience%26#39;...or else - haven%26#39;t lived long enough to tell :)
'Gibbons Experience' and your experience with it
If you carry out a search of this forum you will find more than ample comments about this topic.
I researched and decided against but as poster tpandav said there is lots of info about.
For instance, a poster EmjayReet has about in her blog. She did both recently www.travelblog.org/bloggers/reet
%26lt;%26lt; is it possible to combine ';Gibbons Experience'; with a day of tubing in VV?%26gt;%26gt;
Have you looked at a map ?
The ';Gibbons Experience'; is in a different area to VV.
Then with your limited time, I am guessing you would have to get back to V or LP to fly back to BKK, just to go tubing.
I am sorry couldn’t be more helpful.
