HI, I was wondering if the risk of malaria is worse in July? Are the mossies like in swarms and %26#39;feral%26#39; at that time of year or only at dawn and dusk?

Malaria risk greater in July at Vang Vieng and LP?There is a very very slim risk of contracting malaria there- you will be in guesthouses with mosquito nets (or more likely hotels with aircon)- and the best method of prevention is to bring along DEET-based mosquito repellent and cover up during dawn %26amp; dusk, when the mozzies feed.
