Money Changer at Vientainne Airport

hi,

Do anyone know whether there are any money changer at the airport ? i thought of changing some USD to the local currency as i will be travelling by local bus. So i assume local bus will not take USD , do they ?

Yes of course there is a money changer; no of course they don%26#39;t take US$. You get a better rate at the Morning Market.

Don%26#39;t worry about change USD to Lao Kip. Of course according to places and banks the rate might change a bit... however you will get more od less 100 Kips/USD variation according to places... therefore you will need to change a lot to safe enough to have a free beerlao. Don%26#39;t need to waste your time and look for a tuktuk which will cost you morte than what you safe by getting a better rate.

Just change your money to any money changer... it will be OK.

Sorry, to make confuse. What I mean is wherever you go you will get the same exchange rate with more or less 100kip/USD variation. Means currently the exchange at BCEL bank is about 8670kip/USD... with some private shop which accept change, you might get 8700kip/USD and in other place like at the Talat Sao Mall you will get 8600kip/USD.
