Green Discovery Treks - anyone do them?

I am planning to go to Laos around new years for 10 days or so. Am an avid trekker and want to do a multi day to week long hill trek. Green Discovery is a company that seems reasonable and well reviewed. Anyone have experience with them or advice on others?

Also - am interested in middle range hotels in LP. any suggestions? Thanks.

Did one. Just make sure that you know EXACTLY what it entails and what you are up for.

thanks. am interested in a 5 or 6 day trek outside LP. what was your experience? Others you think I should consider? thanks, R

Green Discovery has a pretty good website that details each available trip pretty well, google it if you haven%26#39;t already, callao

Have just had a very disappointing experience with Green Discovery. Booked driver to Nong Khai %26amp; train to Bangkok thru them but neither eventuated. Seems that someone forgot to book the train %26amp; they were too ashamed to turn up %26amp; tell us. Rang 6 times over a period of 2 hours. Got our money back but not much of an apology. Having told the story to many here - have heard similar. So beware!

I did overnight trekking and kayaking with the company 2 weeks ago. It was fantastic. One day trekking was not difficult at all but it rained the day before and the trekking day so you can imagine trekking the muddy road. It was fun and awesome though because the guides, fellow trekkers and mountain. It%26#39;s so beautiful there. We did not encounter any other trekkers at all. We visited 3 tribes and had very good lunch which was prepared by them. I heard that they take you further remote place for multiple trekking. You%26#39;ll love Lao people and beautiful land. Enjoy.
